The Elder Scrolls V Skyrim Special Edition PC is a remastered edition of the 2011 game The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim, includes all official DLC packs and a wide range of visual updates.

Higher-quality textures and effects, such as volumetric lighting and dynamic depth of field, and mods for PC fans are available for the console versions of the title. Interestingly, the Windows PC edition is free to anyone who has purchased the original Skyrim and all DLC packs or owns the Legendary Edition.

The plot of The Elder Scrolls: Skyrim Special Edition takes place 200 years after the events of Oblivion. You play as one of the last Dovahkiin, dragon hunters. Until recently, powerful beasts were long thought to be extinct, but one day they reappear in the skies, and a prophecy predicts the arrival of Alduin, the god of destruction, who takes the form of a dragon.

When you fight dragons, you absorb their souls and abilities, the so-called Screams. Thanks to them, you can reduce the time, push back your enemies with the use of invisible energy and even call an allied dragon to help you. Many of these abilities are unlocked by finding ancient words located in Nordic underground ruins.
